Music recognizer - Shazam MusicID
Saturday, November 22, 2008, 11:32 AM - Mobiles
If you want a great software for mobile phones (also for any Nokia phones) for recognizing music only by recording the track from a speaker, you should have a look on Shazam MusicID.

A small and simple software which depends on an internet connection (e.g. WLAN, GPRS, HSPDA, ...). It also works in a disco, where the music is quiet loud or the peoples around you are yelling, pretty good.

Thursday, November 13, 2008, 10:57 PM - VMware
If you have VMware ESX 3.5.0 Update 2 installed and you will get this error message, then the problem is this version of VMware ESX.
There is a BIG BUG in it!

It is strongly recommended to upgrade the ESX to 3.5.0 Update 3!

Dual Head Monitors in Ubuntu
Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 02:56 PM - Linux
Dual Head monitors is not very good supported till the version 8.10 of Ubuntu. All versions after Ubuntu 8.04 (starts at 8.10) will support Dual Head graphiccards.

I tested it now on a Nvidia Quadro Fx370 2xDVI. It works only with the default driver of Ubuntu.

If you run in the same issue as me and the whole second screen is not useable, just do an reboot of the machine and change the resolution lower and then back to higher again ;-)

VMware Server 2.0 - CTRL+ALT+DEL
Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 02:54 PM - VMware
Sometimes, when you try to login in a Windows VM, it's not possible to unlock the login screen with CTRL+ALT+DEL, because the remote console will put you out of the VM window.

Don't be worry if it is so, just use instead of the DEL key the Num_DEL key. Then it will work!
